The Department of Shalya Tantra at Rajkiya Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Varanasi, is dedicated to excellence in Ayurvedic surgical education, clinical practice, research and patient care. The department follows the surgical principles of Acharya Sushruta while integrating classical Ayurvedic knowledge with contemporary surgical concepts.
The department provides undergraduate and postgraduate education and clinical training, with exposure to clinical diagnosis, patient management, surgical and para-surgical procedures, operation theatre activities and research.
